DrachenPod welcomes guests on an exploration of the largest fantasy larp event in the United States: DrachenFest US. Every June, more than 1,200 people gather in Pennsylvania to experience five immersive days of fun, adventure, stories, theatrical combat, and medieval life at this live action roleplaying event.

Carie, Jason, and Ryan get to know Bela while discovering the opportunities that players have in the Bazaar – from shopping real world vendors and interacting with in-game enterprises to learning all kinds of skills from the guilds! We dive in to find out about vendors and enterprises, as well as the six guilds (or is it seven!?!?) and how you and your character can get involved.

DrachenFest US Silver 2 Referee Stefano Mach joins the podcast to discuss what it means to be a champion of the Silver Dragon, as well as give his insight into the kinds of characters that are a great fit for Silver Camp. He also talks about his experience coming to DrachenFest for the very first time having never larped before, and the lessons he learned that can help new players be better prepared when they arrive at Coopers Lake!
